knocking from right front suspension

yah i got an annoying knocking sound coming from left front…could it be the coilover sleeve or shock…i just put on new koni’s, could i of blow it?

come on guys!! help him out…

to be honest…its probably the cv boot or the axle…the knocking will continue to get worse.

yah i thought it was axle too…i replaced thos(now the car vibrates) but the annoying knocking still happens…think im gonna take apart the suspension and put it back on…maybe something lose

hey bam…nice car by the way, good clean look.

since the axles are good, get a wheel alignment…that causes the shaking too…

when does it knock? randomly, only during turns, only over bumps, under any acceleration or braking?

turns- if your axles are new, check your tie rods. look for any grease flung around
bumps- upper arm contacting inner fender when a 3degree camber adjustment is installed

yah i was thinking it was that damn camber kit knocking…time to cut off that fender peice

but its only like a 1 degree camber kit…oh well…ill just turn up radio louder

yeah. My car just recently started that damme knocking sound. Both my Cv boots and shafts are new. Am thinking it’s something to do with my coilovers. I don’t know waht to do:mad:

do you have a camber kit…if you do, check the inner fender and see if the control arm is hitting it…i have a little mark on mine were it was, so im pretty sure its that…or maybe we have different knocking sounds

I have no camber kit. The sound gets louder as i accelerate threw a turn. i don’t accelerate threw a turn, ther is no knocking noise

I have the same problem, but I think its my cv axle or boot… I’m getting a grease spray on the inside of my front passenger side wheel.

Check your bushings…

Minez more of a vibration; I replaced my front passenger axle

after it snapped apart… now I think my driver side is goin (saw CV grease sprayed underneath my alternator) I got my wheelz balanced but the Teg shakez/wobblez under excelleration now esp in 3rd & 4th gears from 40mph to 65mph; I hope to god the replacement isnt defective:tsk:
