well, both. The paint was flaking and also I hate painted interiors. Nothing is cleaner than stock pieces, I know that now after replacing mine…

There was a WA 206/604 Canada meet i while ago its annual peobably not gonna be anything anytime soon cause its getting to be winter and cold. But the last one i went to was posted on here it was the NWmotoring meet in seattle.
I gotta get the other dash panel painted its sanded and ready for paint hopefully monday Ill be done

That is some good painting. You should consider painting some more pieces, like the wheel or the dash. I think if you redid the shift boot with some blue stitching would be a nice touch. Looking good.

It could be worse I think…and don’t paint anythin else. At least you didn’t half ass it 
nice just noticed the radar detector, same one as mine i think in the same spot! the interior paint… you did a nice job, and the job itself came out nice, just not feelin the whole painting interiors thing. to me paint is for outside a car. But if you like it thats all that matters. Clean ride!
Thanks for the positive input and well put dislikes with out flamming. Its nice to read something in a positive manner even if you dont like it usually people are dick about it at least you can see the workmanship i have put into it.:whew:
i dig the color man, i would’ve done just the dash trim tho and left the glove box black, but whatever you like! that color is sick 
Well no more painting till i can make a home made paint booth. I just got laid off from my job a Auto Trim Design so now ill either have to pay to get it done or figure out how to do it at home.
dash trip doesn’t look too bad but I’m not feeling the blue glove box…
Hey Kuppa nice build. It’s great to see local guys on here. I just dropped a new motor in mine and planning more stuff in the future. I’ll proably bug you for info. That camber kit in the front does it work ok? anyway keep up the good work maybe I’ll see you around.
yeah works fine the cotrol arms will hit the strut tower and make a bump but its ok the onlything i would recomend with them is take out the bushings and grease them really good cause two are going out on me or just get a skunk2 ones much better
oh and today i fucked up my exhaust try to get pics up soon to show damage stupid slip fit test pipe and damn rubbur speed bump s pipe looks like a Z ow and is kinked almost flat
