well the exhaust has one i thought about a resonated test pipe but i need a shorter one cause i have 92-93 cat back on my 90. The 92-93 manifold is shorter than 90-91

So i got the sway bar today man it is gybungis
Here is the stock one in its place about to get ripped out
the difference between the two is insane
now its out and exhaust is out of the way
all out and had to remove this bracket tried to remount but said f@ck it
transfered bushings into new bar
drilled two pilot holes
all holes drilled and sized washers to spread the load
made an access hole to get in behind the sway bar mounts in the sub frame
used double backed foan tape so i could get up into subframe
holds the nut like this
reach up in the subframe
now i can mount the d brackets
all together looks good ill see how it handles tomorrow
more washers to space and spread the load
just to show the before
AFTER
i hope that’s stable
isnt the dc2 rear sway 22mm??
the one i got is supposed to be 23
it should be i have large washers to spread the load
What was your total cost for all the hardware and parts you needed for that rear sway bar? I’m curious because I’ve been wanting to do one on my DA.
it was 108 for the sway bar and i already had the hardware but thats like maybe another 10 bucks. I got the sway bar at ICB motorsports or JDM land bset price i found
why didnt you just use a longer bolt and put the nuts on the other side of the subframe? seems like an easier way to accomplish mounting imo…
1 idint have bolt that long and the hardware store was closed 2 i didnt feel like droping my gas tank and i dont have a long enough drill bit. it wasnt that bad anyway
isn’t there the possibility of your sub-frame ripping off?

is that the one you used?
if i order that all i’ve got to do is hit the local store and get bolts and nuts accordingly right? other than the labor of course.
thx

yep thats the one and i used 1 3/4" 14mm bolts and large thick hardened washers that way your sub frame wont tear
and here i jbwelded the washer to the nut behind inside the subframe i would do that too use quick weld sets in like 5 min
not with the large washers they spread the load i am thinking about using beaks ek sway bar reinforcment mount though
so now i gotta change my alternator again i did one when i got the car. soo gay but i know how to get it out without taking the axle all the way out so that saves me from another axle nut and stuff
dude, washers are not enough to prevent your subframe from ripping
