lightened flywheels

do u guys kno who makes them for the 90-91 tegs and do u all have any advice as to which one i should get? thanks a lot! anybody that has one if u can tell me if its worth it and all that id appreciate it!

ive seen some flywheels from summit racing for alot of $,
try to see how much a machine shop would charge to lighten your flywheel.

ive heard bad stories about lightening a stock flywheel bc of the strenght of it after…i dunno

I have a stock lightned fly wheel and have not had any problems with it, it winds up quite a bit quicker than stock…I got it lightened up about 4lbs…So as long as you don’t go too light you shouldn’t have any structural or durability problems. My machine shop said thats about as much as he could take off without jeopadizing integrity.

Tim,

Check out our site www.importstop.net We carry the Clutchmasters 7.5lb Billet Alum. Flywheels for a great price! Email us if you’re interested. All in stock ready to ship.

BTW, Shortblock should be ready to go this Saturday. Thanks again.

hey leo thanks a lot man…for everything…and hey would u kno where i can get a stock head from bc im trying to build mine and i want a second one so i dont have too much down time?

I have a clutchmaster’s lightened flywheel. The part number is the same for 90-99 Integra. The difference is the clutch assemble you use. 90-91 is i think 25 spline and 92+ is 26 splines. The Pilot bushings is the same for 90-99 Integra’s. Pilot bushings sits in the middle of the flywheel. I recommend getting a lightened flywheel, than shaving your stock one.

I paid 276 shipped for my flywheel. Brand new in box.

how do u like the clutchmasters? is the torque still there all the way thru bc ive heard u dont want to go too light and that 7.5 lb is the lightest ive seen out there? let me know thanks a lot

Well I have a B16A, so i don’t really have torque. Taking off the line is kinda slow, but once you hit the powerband she’ll fly. I drive more freeway than street, so it doesn’t bother me. It revs up hella fast, and down really fast. Once I swap Cams, it should make more of a difference. My b16a cam with auto cams
Oh well, at least when i upgrade I will feel a difference.

yo kinciad where u been havent talked to u on messenger in a while.

Hey Dude, long time no see, been asking Uncle Sam to hook me up. Teg has seen better days. Haven’t driven her in 2 months
the carpet has molded. Plus weather seals failing on passenger side. Oh well winter build up here now, got em a shop to get this stuff done.
