Ive put 1 orion 12 hcca and a punch 500 and when the bass hits the light dim real bad so i had a battey installed in the hatch so that gave me 2 batteys and the problem still remains and suggestions thanks
Yeah the problem still remains because all you did was give yourself extra running time with the ignition off and created an extra load for the alternator. Either upgradfe the alternator to a High Output or maybe try a few ! Farad caps. 135 amp alt for 179.99High Output Alt.
I wouldnt run out and buy an alternator/Caps just yet. First and foremost you should check your charging system. If that checks out ok then go to your chasis grounds. REPLACE all the grounds in your engine compartment with bigger gauge wires (4g) and use new contacts to bare metal. Then see if that helps. I was running more power then you have in my old teg and didnt have dimming problems after using larger grounds.

I believe that there are only three ground, one from the battery, one on tranny, and one on the valve cover.
