Are these lines in the lense themselves or in the backing? cuz I need a new lense for my 93 teg and was wondering if I would use the 1 off a 91 teg. Thx.
the lines are on a piece which is inside the light. Just like you have an orange plastic piece in your 92-93 tails --the 90-91’s have a piece that has the red lines on it.
but you won’t want to use a 90-91 outter lense on your 92. The 90-91 and 92-93 outter lenses are completely different (in fact this is what makes it so that clearing out 90-91 tails looks ugly). The 90-91 outter lense is completely clear, allowing you to see perfectly inside the light. The 92-93 outer lense has some horizontal faceting (just like the horizontal facets on 92-93 bumper lights).

Hmm, so it’ll look different if my driver side has a 93 lens and the passenger side has a 91?

yup, it’ll look different. If you keep the orange reflector the difference probably won’t be hugely noticable from a distance. But up close you will definitely be able to tell.

My lights are cleared out and i fooked up the passenger side 1 damn it, 92-93 tails are hard to find arent they?
yeah, if your tails are cleared then it will look like crap.
it does seem like 92-93 tails are hard to find. I wonder why? Most people like the look of the 90-91’s better, so you’d think more people would be trying to get rid of the 92-93’s.

so theyre perfectly clear eh… what if you put on some kind of coating, besides cherry heh. i really hate the pinkness and want to do something about it
