personal opinion
i think crane cams stage 2 or crower 403’s with gears, intake ,header, exhaust should put u in the 15 flat spot…easily
aslong as u dont suck at driving
i pull 15.5 with i/h/e/no cat/no back seats
Ok, in March I ran a 15.152 @ 88.43 mph at a track near sea level in about 70 degree, fairly dry weather. At the time my set-up was…
*i/h/e/cat
*crower 403 cams
*cam gears untuned at +2/-2
*weight reduced to 2,450 lbs (stripped behind front seats)
*stock suspension
*regular goodyear tires aired down to 20 psi
*removed ps belt
Since then I have dyno tuned the gears, got an FPR and an S-AFC, all tuned.
Does anyone know the gear ratios for the B16 and LS trannies.
I think that would be the only way to really know if the swap is worth it!

I believe 1st and 2nd gear are almost identical in the trannies, but the b16 tranny ownz in 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I saw a chart somewhere, but I forget where.
I GUARANTEE a B16 tranny with a good LS motor (I/H/E/cams/gears/AFC etc) would haul ass.
Having owned both I have yet to combine the LS and B16A tranny together…
Member Day U Iz has a GSR tranny with an LS motor and it hauls butt.
I ran a 15.1 in 100 degree weather first time at the track.
