ls/vtec and nitrous

could a ls vtec with ctr internals handle a 55 shot of zex nitrous

yes it could, but the question you should be asking yourself is for how long can it handle it?

CTR pistons=very high c/r…not the best choice for any type of Forced induction, such as nitrous, or turbo.
Na and high c/r are fine
FI and low c/r are good.

You could pull it off with tuning, but without tuning i would not suggest it.

how about itr internals

calculate your c/r with what ever head and block you are going to use, then come back and as questions once you have a set c/r and ls/vtec set up.

Nitrous LOVES compression. but high compression causes the user to use race gas or meth injection. Also you have to remember stock rods/pistons don’t enjoy more than 250-265whp.

compression isnt the problem, the factory cast pistons are the weak link. 75-100 max
