ls/vtec n/a's: what's your average mpg?

I average 24mpg almost always and mostly city driving. I’m sure it would go up by replacing my 12 year old o2 sensors, but I’m wondering how everone else is going in this area of hybridness(made up word) – gas milage is not a goal- just curious. thanks.

Hey what kind of bottom end work do you have done to your setup, im getting a b16a head here soon. Who did you have run your oil supply line for the head?

i had the main bearings replaced, the crank and rods inspected to make sure they were in good condition, and type r pistons put it. as far as the work goes, it was all done by an acura tech, a good friend of mine. no one else but me and him touch my car. now are there any hybrids out there for me to compare mpg with?

check out my site

Well, I have a 1992 LS/Vtec setup that only average 23mpg on the hwy and 20 mpg in the city…Of course having the mugen specs ecu doesn’t help much either…Have you taken your car to the track yet?? If so, how did u do??

hey chingro,
that link isn’t working, I would like to check it out is that right?

haven’t yet- doesn’t feel quite right yet witht the pr3 ecu- gonna change to a hondata equipped p28

Hey gen2ls/vtec…How does the motor pull with the ls tranny??? I have the ys1 gs-r trans, but my third gear is shot…Probably syncros, but i’m thinking about running a ls tranny for now…Just want to see how your car pull with the longer gears! Let me know…thanks

i couldn’t tell you i have a y1 tranny. with the y1 tranny it pulls good. what’s holding my setup back currently is bad clutch and pr3 ecu.
