Luck with nitrous????

ok, just wondering… im going with a ZEX kit and b4 i had one of the old single cylonoid (sp*) NOS kit and now i am changing the setup because i dont like the way this one is setup… anyways… i just have a couple questions on the kit and some accessories…

  1. when i use the kit, i have never used a bottle warmer, i live in az so the temp inside our cars are about 130degrees plus… so do i need a bottle warmer, and i dont mean to be stupid, but do i need one for say like, if it is cool out… bottle temp at 90 degrees, then if i hook up a bottle warmer then is it going to help the pressure out or not? my question i guess is for u guys in AZ, do u guys use bottle warmers…???

  2. running the lines, should i run the feed line under the car along the fuel lines and into the bay or under the carpet next to the side trim and run it through like i did for gauges (a/f guage and stuff)???

3)what problems have u guys ran into??? period, what stuff… just wondering…

The ZEX kit is dumb simple to install and use. I’d just run the line along the inside of the car; incase you need to remove the line, just lift the carpet instead of the car.

Enjoy the kit, tis fun, just make sure you retard the timing a bit or run colder spark plugs; little insurance is all it is.

i don’t use a bottle warmer, just take your bottle into the sink with hot ass water, let it set in there for a while till it feels warm. hook it all up then wrap it with a coleman sleeping bag. it works for me and i live in indiana, keeps my bottle warm all night.

cool thnx, so i am using the ZEX gauge, what should be my psi most of the time for best performance… like between the 1100-1200 range or what…

i was thinking of wrapping the bottle in something cause i heard it help make the pressure more even for spraying, is this true…

~1200psi is good, also they sell bottle blankets for ~50 that fit really nice.

Yeah.

as long as the pressure is above 900 psi you are good to go

i just picked uo my ZEX wet kit and its sweet. But there was a packaging mistake i got 2 nozzles, guess i have an extra. One question where do yall pull the fuel from? on top of fuel filter? i have a gauge there, fuel rail? i have stock rail, cut fuel line and use the splitter?
