I plan on getting one of these soon, and I have ABS and don’t want to spend lot of money so these are my options. Now I know the OBX-R is probably the best, but is the falloff that great to the other two? Because the other two come in colors and I think they’d look real good in my engine bay. Anyone had experience with any of these, particularly the Pilot or Matrix?

i dont know about the strut bars but i had an intake from them and it sucked the middle plastic piece from the filter into my throttle body and every since then i will not go near matrix.
so i would go with a different one.
I’ve had my Pilot bars for a while and haven’t had any problems with them.
I’ve had my Matrix rearview mirror and the reflective piece falls off constantly. I mean really, how hard is it to glue something? Stay away from Matrix.

The pilot bar is a pretty nice piece for the price (about $40). I used to have it.
The OBX-R bar is great. I did a side by side comparison with the Spoon (pull test) and the OBX-R is almost as stiff. It looks good in the engine bay too. It comes in 3 colors…red, blue, and polished. Here’s a shot of mine…
the obx fits abs? i thought there were only a few that did. search in the general discussion forum, someone posts a list with prices that fit. archivethis
I have the Pilot bar ($45) and it is a nice piece. It looks exactly the same as Dan’s OBX-R, I mean exactly.
What about a rear strut bar?
