wtf is it?
I know a few members that use it including myself. The only thing is that we use a clay bar instead of the rubbing compound. It works great, but I suggest using Meguiar’s Gold Class or High Tech wax instead of the bottled canuba wax. it works great, and got my teg brighter than ever!
I just used some of this stuff yeasterday, and it works awesome. I used steps one and two, with 2 coats of each, and followed with 2 coats of Meguiar’s #26 Professional Yellow Wax, and the paint is looking great. There were a lot of swirl marks before, and they are almost all gone. I recommend it highly.
some1 try the mothers system and tell me how it compares. ![]()
I’ve used the 3 step system from Meguiar’s.
x 100 People always ask “Is that original paint?”
I have heard nothing but good things about the deep crystal system. It looks great, but I prefer the good class more solid wax, to the bottled liquid carnuba.
paste waxes are better than liquids… no matter WHAT you read… all liquid waxes are “cleaner” waxes…
Supposedly the #26 is available in a paste, I bought it at Advance Auto and all they had was the bottle version.

I just read that. So I don’t believe it. ![]()

I have in my garage right now a bottle of cleaner, then a bottle of polish, and then a bottle of plain old wax. So, therefore, not all liquid waxes are “cleaner” waxes. Go to Walmart and take a look at the shelf, there’s plenty of cheap liquid waxes that aren’t “cleaner.”
the labels aren’t correct, 35 years of professional detailing teaches you a lot of things. The majority of store bought products are for amateurs and if you’re buying your products at Wal Mart, well there isn’t a store with more amateur products in it. You can think and use whatever you like, but dont ever plan on a liquid wax lasting for shit.
Agreed that MOST products are for “amatures” but to say that ALL liquid waxes are “cleaner” waxes is bold statement - and untrue. True that Walmart doesn’t sell the greatest of stuff, but use it for an example because they do have a few things in there that are half-way decent.
When I was younger I also worked in professional detailing, and I remember that all of the “good” stuff that we used was liquid. But that’s not saying much - I never liked how that stuff acted and wouldn’t use it on one of my cars.
And my labels are correct. ![]()
i use steps one (paint cleaner), and 2, (polish) and insted of using the 3rd liquid caranarbia lol i cant spell wax, i use the meguires gold class…i’ve been asked about 30x where did i get my car painted…believe me, u wont regret it
is walmart the cheapest you can get meguiars stuff? do they sell kits? i wonder if i should give my old beat up paint (nice from far away) such good treatment…
btw what about my clearcoat peeling on my roof?
can’t do anything about peeling clearcoat… you can buff the shavings off so that its loooks even, but it’ll be bare paint… if youkeep it nice it wont get worse.
Wal-Marts around here don’t carry the Deep Crystal System, just the Gold Class Wax. Cheapest place I have found was Advance Auto.
I only use the Gold Class products…is the Deep Crystal a step above that?
yes and no… the gold class will provide more gloss but less protection… and the deep crystal systems uses three steps, to clean, polish and wax… where gold class is just a shitty cleaner and a polish… really no wax.
