Color matched mirrors has nothing to do with the interior of the car.
The door mirrors are paint matched to the EXTERIOR color of the car, versus coming black like on other models.

unless im crazy, i SWEAR that “mirrors” said interior. im not crazy. thats why me response is about the interior. i swear i thought it said color matched interior…
my bad
I know what the ls-s interior looks like but don’t know why you think it has something to do with the mirrors be the same color as the exterior
Never head this, but according to good ol’ Wikipedia, the jdm versions are not as wide, so those hoods and whatnot wont work on our usdm cars lol. Could be true, could be BS, don’t really make a difference to me lol
"Width
1990: 1,712 mm (67.4 in)
1991–92: 1,715 mm (67.5 in)
(Japan only) 1,695 mm (66.7 in) "

hoods are interchangable. I have done this numerous times.

Yes I know usdm hoods are for sure, sedan or coupe doesn’t matter either. But that is talking about the jdm hoods supposedly. Like I said its Wikipedia, you know how that goes.
Also seems that seat cover fabric on later model year cars is a bit different. So a 1990 white LS with “palmy blue” interior does NOT have the same kind of fabric, even if the color looks the same…
These are seats in my latest donor car, a wht/blue '93:
91 GS’s do not have color matched mirrors
Im gonna have to kinda sorta disagree with you there.
My 1991 GS
Yes i know its a black car but i can tell the difference between un painted mirrors and paint matched mirrors which my car has.
I believe the 90-91 headlight corners are lighter than the ones on 92-93…
The 90-91 and 92-93 Oil Pans are different.
Do you even bother to look up info if you aren’t sure about it?

this is another one of those they came both ways scenarios… My 91 GS (despite being painted black now) was originally Rio Red and has Rio Red mirrors… Flip side is there is a completely stock looking 91 LS I found on the side of the road for sale that has Black mirrors and a greyish brown metallic paint… I’m only guessing it is an OEM color as the side moldings are still black and never been painted…
91 ls integras don’t have paintmatched mirrors… Only ls-s and gs, I think you missread what I wrote
Seems like people are forgetting “dealer options” when these cars were new. Someone could have opted to have mirrors color matched if they were not already. I’m sure this can apply to more than one thing. Just like new cars today.
Someone who has original brochures for this car would be the most helpful I’d imagine. Like the ones with Michael J. Fox in them maybe?
