o ok il c i got the wings west ones right now and i dnt like them they came with ma car
i had them also i didnt like them. they were to round looking. i was gonna go with carbin fiber skirts but not for 600 dollars
just picked me up a pair! of coarse along with 95 accord front and rear lips, Cant wait to get them all on!
good job cant wait to see pics
hey, im about to get some sho sideskirts but i was wondering what those would look like or if they would fit just like thease before i buy them
Nice
It’s all up to you if they will fit the same way his did. They aren’t meant for the car which means you have to make them fit like he did. Buy them and install them and you will have an answer to your question.
Nice job on the install, they came out good. Have you thought about painting them black to match the lip or paint match the lip so it flows better?
I wonder if it would fit a DB1 seeing as you had to cut a little off anyways.
I am calling around to all my junk yards and when I say side skirts they have no idea wtf I am talking about. Anyone know what the actual term is for these things on the ford car?
That’s the actual term. Most people who work in junkyards have no idea what half of the car parts are called and usually make up prices on the spot.
LOL Okay. Well when I call I will play dumb and just see if they have the cars out in the yard.
this shits sick. this is probably the best looking skirt ive seen put on a DA. bought or DIY.:ohyeah:
It really does flow nicely with the car. How did you come up with the idea?
Ask them about a “rocker panel” that is actually the “general term” for them. Most just call them side skirts as that is the modern lingo for the same part.
google the term “rocker panel” and look at the image results. Rocker panel is a term more common in domestic crowds, and since most junkyards are run by “domestic friendly” employees, that is likely what kind of lingo they’ll be looking for.
But yeah, Marshall. Just ask them if they have that kind of car there, and if so, just go them for dirt cheap.
autoplex. You wouldn’t happen to have taken step by step pics of the install did you?? Id like to see how it was done because I’m going to the yard on the first. I was going to get the Civic skirts but i think ill be doing your setup instead:angel: O and nice job by the way. Car looks sweet.

Thanks Jake. Didn’t think you would have the answer for this lol.
imma do this whenevr i have some free time. Nice job OP
lol. sometimes, my random useless automotive knowledge amazes me. :giggle:
the ends where you screwed it in, is that the End Cap your talking about?
i dont think my car has these? my car doesnt have have side skirts…
what can i do.,. just tape it with 3m?
do you have more shots of the rear lip… i like it
If you get all the parts from the 95 Taurus then you will get everything you need to put them on your car. But anyone can correct me if I am wrong.
EDIT:
Going to pick me up a set today. Better get my car looking good before I get a fresh paint job
