This stuff has got to be your car paint’s best friend. If you want to find out whether you need it (and that would probably include everybody who DOESN’T use finishing clay), all you have to do is hand-wash your car very thoroughly, and slide the back of your finger along the paint surface. If it feels gritty or slightly rough, then clay that sucker. For a dramatic demonstration all by yourself, try the half-half trunk or hood treatment. The side that you clay will feel VERY smooth compared to the side that’s not. Trust me, it’s like night and day. When you slide the clay over, you can actually feel and HEAR the crap coming off your paint. And remember, the clay will remove EVERYTHING including old wax, so please use wax right afterwards. Oh, and the shine of fresh wax over a clayed surface… SIMPLY FREAKIN’ AMAZING.

does it get rid of those annoying little dots on the car? cause i have a white car and these annoying little dots, like a dark orange lookng thing are starting to get stuck to the paint, can’t get it off by washing it, only way is to scratch it off with your nail
yeah my car is white and the 12 year old paint had those spots also. I used the clay bar and then the cleaner wax and they haven’t come back yet.
i prefer the blue clay over mother’s yellow clay bar. better quality clay. i lost the box it came in so i forgot the name of it. anyway… clay bars are dope.

I’m not sure if they have a Pepboys where you are, but that’s where I picked mine up. Good stuff. It’s too bad, I haven’t even waxed or detailed my car in over a year…
I think I’ll have to check these clay bars out… they work any good on faded paint??
