Just yesterday I bought and installed the MSD SS coil with the modified distributor cap and everything is Peachy!

I always wondered, do you just replace the cap, and hook up the coil? or do you have to modify your distribtor in some way?

I have a digital 6 and msd cap and coil. The nice thing about the cap is you can run pretty much any generic coil with it, so replacing the coil is easy.

For putting the cap on, all you have to do is run your wires from your stock coil to the external coil, then connect the coil to the cap’s coil post. It’s very easy to install.

There is a little rwiring involved to relocate the coil with the MSD diz cap…I posted a wiring diagram, do a search, if you can’t find it I can email it to ya:up:
