on both of the cars, the lips are both mounted upside down
no they’re mounted correctly. ill try to do a write up with pics…
yeah, i cut the center piece out of the lower part of the bumper. the front lip AND sideskirts are both from a 95 accord. the front lip i had to cut about 3 inches out of the middle, then stick it back together to get it to the correct width. all the pieces come from the factory are unpainted black abs plastic. i will post some pics of the sides and my custom rear bumper too. probly tonight.
PLEASE DO!
Looks good
here is a few extra shots of the sides, and rear bumper i made.
hard to see in daytime, bubt just had her painted frost white with a light copper pearl over it. really flops well at night. the tails are coming out as soon as i get my custom stockers done. toying with the idea of making a carbon fiber diffuser for the rear too…wadya think?
After you cut the front lip what did u use to reattach it in the middle? Also do you have to use the front mudflaps for the skirts to work?
Looks really good! The sideskirts look perfect!
just used some more abs plastic that i had around. (either the excess from the middle i just cut out or the extra length from the sideskirts) plastic weld the re-inforcment from the backside. fill in gap in front with more filler. on the sideskirts, i think i remember cutting about 3-4 inches? off the front of the skirt. you really dont need the mudflap thingy on the front, however it caps it off nicely, you would see the empty space otherwise.
I have these lips brand new for sale email me Dallas_motors@yahoo.com they are brand new in package email me and make me an offer if you would like one
EK, CD, DC, Mugen, all these sideskirts work…some need trimming though.
Some bigger pics of the blue DA would be nice.
