my db1 project

Aight man thanks

yep no problem. hey out of the past 2 rims i posted which ones u think would look better? im thinking the silver tsw. plus they are only 100 more than the black ones and have 0 miles on the tires
im still feeling the TSW more but i test fitted a rim tonight, the dude has a great deal on them and they have dunlop direzzas on them…but i dont like that id have to use different lug nuts cuz my neo chromes didnt fit. what u guys think?? i think the TSW would look better

and yes i know my caster is way off, just ignore it for now
looks sunken in like a mofo…like it’s a +50 offset sunken in

i think it just looks like that cuz the caster is way off, plus im not trying to be all hellfrush and that shit…i prefer functionality

naw, believe me i dont care about being flush or poke etc…IJS it looks more sunken in than OE wheels. you must not have seen mine.

lol i prolly have just dont remember, and nah they sit about the same as the wheels i have now…i contacted the guy with the TSW but he sold them. good news is the guy he sold them too just wanted the tires so i might be able to snag em again…heres an update for today tho

got all my parts for my manual rack conversion, rack isnt in the picture bc i need to clean it up and repaint it before i put it on, so i didnt wanna put it on my nice table lol

outer tie rods with energy covers
new inner tie rods
and manual rack conversion kit with hardware from a member on g2ic

i FINALLY found a driveway where i could 3wheel…well im sure my new coilovers helped alot since my old suspension sucked ass

got these for the car today…cant wait to put em on, brand new tires and OLD as hell rims…

i definitely need to adjust my rear up a bit higher to be even with the front and get a paint job, but i like the new wheels

17x8? looks good man.

yea 17x8…best part is this rite here…i have a spare rim and actually have 4 spare clips for the center cap nut…those are hard to find!

got some more parts in today…i absolutely love this thing…but prolly gonna wait to install till when i do my carpet cuz i dont see how i can do it with the seats in

got some parts in today, left rear wheel hub, all new rotors, and pads…and did valve lash adjustment

update time,

installed the new brakes, pads, and rear wheel hubs…she stops so good now its amazing…i was weary at first buying brakes from ebay but i’ve talked to a few people who have used the same ones i got on now and they are all really impressed…everything fit perfect, the ceramic pads bedded in perfect and it stops on a dime now…couldnt be any happier with the upgrades…for anyone who wants to look em up heres the link to the exact ones i put on my car

also i totally forgot to take pics of the brake install bc it was dark and i was using my phone for light…but heres a shitty pic of them threw the wheel lol

tomorrows the big day, manual rack swap and alignment! woot woot

personal preference, but unless you plan on tracking this thing i wouldnt do the rack swap. this is your daily isnt it? why not keep the amenities?

You done a lot in a short time looks good,If you do daily this I would keep the power steering as well
