I think the wire’s are botched up…should I just rewire the front speakers? Is it hard to do?
rewiring the front speakers isn’t that hard you just unscrew 3 screws in the door panel and remove the door pull insert and the plastic piece behind the door handle…and remove the door knob just be careful cuz that spring can fly out and you’ll never see it again…once you get the stuff off…pull up on the door panel kinda hard and it should come off.
Later!
That is unnnecary ****… all u have to do is open ur door and ull see where the wire **** is goinght through (blakc rubber tube) u then find where all the wires go into that dube up around where the fuse box is o nthe driver side… then u jsut feed the wire through…also ur gonna needa pop the speaker out and pop the lil plastic thing that is hoding the stock wire… and feed it through the whole it wus blockign… thats it… if u need any help email me i can help u
Dude you have to pull off the door panel to get to all the screws in the door that hold the speaker bracket on…I prefer not to use a lot of force…maybe you do…it was just my opinion…and it wasn’t **** as you called it.
i see ur point… i did get to that speaker basket with some probs … but less then most cuz hte lat owner left the hard to get to screw out… so sorry u were rite
Is your car radio original Honda/Acura? I’ve had Hondas and Acuras in my family for years…who ever makes their radios have had problems with the speaker channels going bad. I’ve noticed it with almost all the Honda/Acuras that we’ve had. After awhile, one of the speakers sound like a wire is loose, then another speaker follows. I’ve never been able to find out what the real cause it, but it’s not a loose speaker wire at the speaker, maybe a loose wire at the radio connection or something internal. I’ve eventually replaced the radios on our cars (when this problem presented itself). It’s annoying to hear that one speaker come off and on. Hope this helps.
