do i need a gasket on the manifold? i can put a paper in a little bit would i have a leak there?
what is the dementions of your FMIC? have you placed it up yet to see what modifications are needed? if so are there any?
i allready cut the bumper support it should fit perfect i believe the demensions are 25 wide X 7.75 tall X 2.75 deep i also need to cut the side of the frame2.5 inches so i can fit the intercooler pipes
as for the fuel pump it should be easy hopefully, i got several friends which are auto tech so it will be even easier i hope. he he
Just curious, does the B18b have 50K miles on it, but has never been rebuilt? Just for piece of mind, I would at least pull everything apart and check it before you break something and cause yourself more headaches.
Balance it for piece of mind. (correct me if I’m wrong) but isn’t a block guard (that thing that braces the tops of the cylinders) a cheap insuance policy?
You seemed to have thought out your setup pretty well …
250 is a very realistic goal , with good tunning you could probally pull 275 out of it reliablly . Be sure to either purchase a wideband or get someone with a good amount of knowledge to tune it …

i had gotten a used engine from japan, and they guy said it had 30k miles on them so the miles i have put on it would be like 50k its an engine shop in los angeles.

yeah the only really regret is the turbo i think i went a bit too small but its perfect according to the compressor graph. other than that the steel braided lines are killing me their too expensive. i plan to get it tuned by church automotive in torrance
