Need help.. Car resets everytime I turn it off...

I opened up all my trunk/hatch side panels to take off my taillights, and I accidentally pulled out the rear drain tube on the left side. Right when it pulled out I heard a few “beeps”. I put it back in and when i started my car, my radio was reset. so i punched in my code… but everytime i turn off my car, it resets again (shows “Code” on my stereo, and my alarm gives a chirp when I disarm it)

Anyone know how I can stop this from occuring. Do i need to go back there and push that drain tube in more securely? or do i gotta reset something…

any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

my rear hatch light doesn’t seem to work either. this is pissin’ me off. :frowning:

Just a suggestion:

1…Did u check all your fuses?

2…Have a look around that tube, if u accidently disconnected anything!

Good luck!

Phil

getting worse!

now none of my interior lights turn on… if i try and turn one of my map lights or my dome light on… my clock turns off… and i noticed my sidemarker/turn signal lights don’t work anymore.

sheesh.

oh yeah… and when i turn off my stereo… the clock turns off and my “door” indicator light in my dash lights up…

what the freak is goin’ on here?

i need help too

i was installing lights in the front of my car. and i had a live wire hanging. it grounded off and blew fuses, i replaced them, but one still doesnt work. and now my intyerior lights (trunk, and dome) dont work, and whenever my dome light is supposed to come on, like i open my door or turn the switch on, my clock shuts off and resets, and the trunk open light comes on???

and when i turn off my stereo… the clock turns off and my “door” indicator light in my dash lights up…

I know for a fact that is a fuse problem, mine did the same thing. It turned out to be the fuse was barely making a connection. Just check all your fuses and keep close watch that it doesn’t come back.

Woohoo!

I finally got down there to check the fuses…

mine was THE exact same thing… i checked the Helms… and it’s obvious… cuz the same fuse connects the interior lights… the trunk light… and your radio memory relay… and i bet your coner lights don’t work, huh?

it’s the fuse 14 (i think) it’s a 15A fuse… it’s in the underdash fuse box… the first fuse on your left in the 2nd row from the top…

replace that one… and i’m pretty sure everything will work. i JUST did it 2 seconds ago… and all my problems are solved. HTH

Definatly is a fuse problem, te same thing happened to me when i was installing my head unit, Just check all of your fuses throughly

yep

after i posted my reply i went and checked my fuses, and it was a weak fuse. almost but not quit blown. i previously checked all the fuses but i was going so quick i didnt notice this one. when i checked them for the last time i noticed when i put the light tester to it it was very dim, something i skipped when i was fast checking the fuses. so you have to really check your fuses. i almost ripped my car apart because i thought i burnt a wire out and created a short.
