Maybe your timing belt is off a notch?
Check to see that when your white mark on your crank pulley is at the pointer on the timing belt cover that the ‘up’ mark on the cam gears are both pointing up, and that the two notches line up in between the cam gears. (you’ll know what I mean when you see it.)
HTH.
if not, um…here, read my write up in this thread on how to loosen the timing belt and fix it:

oops didnt know ecu codes were in teg tips
i checked the timing belt positioning a couple weeks ago cause the car was running like ass, it lined up straight
hm…are you sure?
pull the spark plugs out. stick a screwdriver in No.1 cylinder and have your hand on the top of the screwdriver. Have someone turn the crank, and at TDC the screwdriver should feel like the piston is on the top stroke.
(A freind of mine - Julian - had his timing all screwed up, and the markings lined up, but when the markings lined up the screwdriver I was able to tell began it’s decent…)
got it figured out, i had a frayed wire in my dizzy.
thanks for the help
