need help quick

i installed a camber kit and some tokico struts today. i konw that i ripped my driverside cv boot and that needs to be replaced, but after i got done i went to drive te car and it felt like there was a hard rubbing on the passengers side. could this be caused by the cv joint on the drivers side? also i dont know if one of the bearings in the cv joint fell out. i didnt see it on the ground. are there only 2 bearings in the cv joint. any help would be very much appreciated. i will be checking quite often today so if you need any more info on the problem i will promptly give you some. thanks in advance for any help.

i know i put this in the wrong board but please dont move it, i really need the help and it will get so much more views in this forum

plz, i am really in a bind here. i need my car working on tuesday (hopefully) to make it to work.

the cv joint wouldnt be your problem, if you hearing it on the passenger side and you ripped it on the drivers side. also a ripped boot wouldnt cause any problems right away. i dont know what else to tell you though, ive never put new struts on my car.

i hope someone who knows will answer you question better. good luck.

thanks

plz, NE1 else

cmon, i know someone can help.

Have you tried to just push down on the front side? If it sounds like something is rubbing, I would recommend just looking inside, you could notice some fresh metal shavings.

I had a wierd vibration in my car once, and I drove it around for like half a day, opened the hood, and found that my strut bar was rubbing against that little thingy on the intake manifold that attaches to the throtle cable. I saw metal shavings :stuck_out_tongue:

i’m pretty positive its not your cv boot or joint. you probably have something installed incorrectly, i’d jack up the car, take off the wheel and reinspect everything
