Need some advice on my teg

I just finished up the turbo project on the teg. I can’t get it to start. I set the timing to stock, have spark, fuel. It turns over but won’t fire. I am using turbo edit and had xenocron do the chipping. I tried turning it over and adjusting the distributor with no luck. I am looking for some suggestions. I also double checked all my timing marks and they are right on. Just wondering if there are some tricks you all know that I can try. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Nick

what injectors are you using and is your ecu programmed to use those injectors. when i first didi mine i was using dsm450’s and the chipped was for only the stock injectors (240) my car wouldn’t start but after i put my buddy tune in for the 450 it started up fine

I am using dsm 450’s, I will have to try re flashing the chip with a different tune.

the car should start with 450cc injectors and a stock tune. I have done this before multi times. IMO it is something else.

Agreed, it will run pig rich but it should run with a stock map.

Yeah find a friend that you could borrow a stock ECU from, and try that.

I am going to try to re-flash the chip today. Most of my friends drive VW’s so it is harder to find one to borrow. They don’t really want it run and show them up. HAHAHA

I got one you could borrow if you’re close

That woul be awesome. I live in East st paul, that is pretty close to you. I can come pick it up. My number is 612-280-2252 or give me your number and I will hit you up. Let me know if you want something to borrow it, like a six pack or something.

Thanks
Nick

Sorry for the post, couldn’t resist!

w00t, I"m not the only one from WBL here!

Despite the recent join date, I’ve been using g2ic and H-T for a few years, but in read-only mode. In the education phase, I guess.

Wish I could offer some advice re: no start. Only thing that comes to mind would be distributor: leaky cap+high humidity=no spark… Though you said that you’re getting spark…

Re: fuel- are you getting an injector pulse, or just pressure at the rail? Obviously easy to check with multimeter…

Best of luck troubleshooting!
