New build need suggestions and precautions

Ok so most of you who read this forum like 6 billion times a day like I do know that I bought a built ls/vtec from one of the members on here, now my question is how much power do you think it can handle? It has a fully balanced bottom end, eagle rods, je pistons, acl bearings, gsr oil pump, bored to 81.5mm, and a stock gsr head. I want some opinions oh how much power the stock sleeves can handle, when i bought the engine i was told it would be able to hold 400hp+ but that seems a little to high to me, but i know nothing thats why im asking. since i dont know how much power it can handle i was shooting for somewhere around 250-300whp, but if the stock sleeves are only gonna handle 300hp then im not gonna shoot so high. With that I would also like to ask what a good size turbo would be to give me not so much lag but this kind of power, I was looking at the t3/t4 57 trim with a .63 turbine. Sound good enough?

hell yeah people have boosted stock over 300 on an ls block, but u will have a higher compression do to the gsr head, i believe, and with that turbo it should be easy to make 300 why stop there go for 350 semi built block

its built for low compression, gsr 9:1 je pistons on ls rods and the stock gsr head should result in 9:1 compression maybe a tiny bit less

wait it has ls rods? u said u had eagle…

yes eagle rods the same dimensions as the originals, sorry for the confusion, they are forged eagle rods, the bottom end is very solid so im not particularly worried about that it was more the sleeves i was worried about, it also has arp rod and head bolts

hey clemson were both on the same path but i have mahle pistons. 9.3 : 1 with gsr head. I too was wondering how much boost the motor can handle. So i would say 300whp to 350 should be safe. Dont forget to get injectors.
I am going to use uberdata for ems that xenocron is gonna help me tune…

i would look for a SC61 just in case u need to turn it up later.

oh i havent even started the actually turbo build yet, i just about maxed out my credit card on the motor and other miscelaneous parts for the motor, as far as injectors i was going to go with some I found on tunertoys.com, i believe they are 550cc and high resitance so no need for resitors or a box, i was told to go sc61 by several people but they are majorly exspensive, thought about going with a t3/t4 with the same specs as a 61

take ur time dont rush… i just finished the charge pipes tonight . i think i have another 2 weeks to have it finished. i stopped looking at what i spent i dont wanna add the reciepts. its the lil things that add alot

i dont have a choice but to take my time, one because this is my daily so im gonna have to get all the parts together and do it one weekend, and 2, im fuckin broke as hell now
