SERIOUSLY? I thought Katzkin was the gold standard of this stuff! Maybe he installed it himself.
I went to a local upholsterer and he stated he has worked with them before. I wonder if I should have asked him if he’d do it himself (with his own material). The guy does REALLY good work.

Mine still looked great almost a decade later when I sold the Integra. And the Katzkin kit I installed in my truck in 2010 still looks amazing. The fact that it has no tears or anything 16 years later is a pretty good confirmation of the quality.
My experience with the kit on my truck is what sold me on getting the Katzkin kit for the Integra 5 years later. On both vehicles, I installed the kits myself

Not sure what the story is with whatever you saw on Facebook, but I don’t believe you should take that one bad example and a blanket representation of the product.
Here’s what mine looked like when I sold it a few years ago. The two lines you see on the driver seat cushion were just reflections.

It’s not just that set, i haven’t seen a set that doesn’t have wrinkles or weird stitching on the bottom section of the seats. Maybe they were all installer error
make one wonder what the Air cond seats would be like.. Looking forward to seeing updated pics as the covers tigthens up.
I have to admit that I was really wondering what those ventilated option would look and perform like.
