well as most of you have probably found out by now im ditching the built ls turbo build with a garrett t3 super 60, but now im going with a built ls/vtec that I bought from Trent, thanks alot by the way, so I was wondering what turbo I should go with now, bottom end was balanced so its good to 8k easy so i need a turbo that will blow hard all the way, super 60 is only efficient for 250hp i believe and im looking for a little more then that now…so what should I go with? still wanting to hit full boost kind of quickly, maybe around 3.5k or so, so what do you say, what turbo should i go with?
nice setup just like mine im doing… im using a gt spec biagio turbo t3 .70 a/r
from what im told it will spool to full boost at 3k all the way up to 7500. I am looking at around 300hp
as for a turbo sc63 or try the new gt spec turbo’s from garett

anyone running a good t3/t4 setup thats kicking out around 250whp? i think the block has already been shaved for a big turbo but i dont want alot of turbo lag, looking for full boost before 4k
go with a 60-1…nice turbo…supports nice power and doesnt have much lag…also 250whp?? i better see 450whp out of my motor!!! or ill come up there lol.
hey man, got to start out small then move up, plus im not so sure stock sleeves can handle that much, but if the can, it will see it! Anyone have a site to the the 60-1 cheap? and around where would it spool up at, dont want to be waiting to 5k for boost, i really would like it before 4k
id say you should have full boost around 4500 give or take…maybe less…remember its not an ls so 4500 isnt bad when ur reving to 8200…talk to me on aim my buddy is a precision dealer…i can get a nice sc60 for ya
who actually makes it, cause I saw alot of them that were 60-1 that were made by garrett at cheapturbo.com they just had different a/r, the sc61 and the 60-1 are different right? Im gonna be running 2.25 inch charge pipes so that should aid in a quick spool! plus I dont want to be reving to 8200 all the time, but oh how fun it will be!
garret makes the 60-1 that cheapturbo sells…precision makes a 60-1 called the sc61. the sc61 n 60-1(aka sc60) are different…the sc61 flows 65lbs/min, the 60-1 flows 61 lbs/min, or you can go with the gt40 blow zilla setup which will get u quick spool with the stage 3 rear and flows a whopping 65lbs/min…gt40 is a GREAT turbo with quick spool cause of the stage 3 wheel.
whats the a/r on the stage 3 wheel? cause they have a garrett 60-1 with 3 different sizes
you pick the a/r…usually people go with .63…its a good pick for a honda…
then whats the stage dignify?
