My cost on the IX plugs is roughly $4.87 each. Wire set is $32.44. The mark up from the ebay seller doesn’t seem to be too bad.

I run the MSD 8.5’s with these NGK iridiums, and it runs much smoother, however i just recently went back to the stock coil because for some reason i fried my ICM with the Blaster Coil and the superconductor 8.5’s and iridiums. I put my stock coil back on and replaced the ICM and it runs like a champ again, even a little stronger than when i had the external coil, smoother anyway…but i’ve never ran them with NGK blue wires so i don’t really have anything to compare it to other than stock…anybody know or experianced a difference?

are b18 gsr plugs and wires the same as a b17?

hmmm i ordered these off ebay and just recieved ngk plugs and wires, but apparently not the correct ones… NGK G-Power Platinum bkr6egp - stock number 7092 and high performance resistor spark plug wire set NGK - rc-he64 part number 9775, can anyone tell me if i got ripped off?

well installed them anyways runs SO much smoother even with the lesser quality plugs…stopped making my car sound like an STI when it started up… :smiley:

so thumbs up for these iridium IX’s. But what about the wires? Do they make a difference at all? 8mm,8.5mm,9mm? does the brand of spark plug wires make any difference used with iridium IX’s? Anybody purchase that Vision/MSD kit on ebay? the set with Vision 8.5 mm wires, choice between MSD blaster coil 2, or the ss blaster coil, cap w/ external coil, vision conductor coil wires and a bracket?

I just changed the spark plugs to Iridium IX, and they definitely get thumbs up from me. The car idles just a bit smoother. Accelerates better. Not too sure on gas mileage, but that will be a bonus. So far the OEM wire seems to be fine, but I will definitely keep an eye out for the NGK blue wires as well. Price was $6.99 per at my local Pep Boys.
