anyone running a non-intercooler turbo setup?
just wondering on how it is working out, or if you have had a setup without an intercooler, and then when you went with one, what were the major differences.

you dont need to have a intercooler, it just helps in the process of keeping the car cool. if you have one w/o intercooler and then put one on you will see power gains b/c the cooler the car runs the more power it produces
You are much more apt to detonate at lower boost levels with no intercooler.
High IAT’s are bad 
I dont think I would go more than 6-7 psi on a non-intercooled honda setup.
that was only for one day, hahaha… it was bad too… overheated badly, but also, my chargepiping from the turbo was so close to the downpipe, that the downpipe was touching onto the chargepipe, and started to heat up the piping very quickly. but at the time, i also have the downpipe wrapped in header wrap.
but now it’s all good… FMIC !
