Whay do you think about OBX B1 Tunable bomb mufler? Also any tips on hooking this up?

OBX mufflers are very nice. I just had a B3 installed on my teg and it sounds AWESOME. very deep and low.
I have decided to get another style OBX muffler. So, I am selling my B3 if you are interested. Ill let it go for around $80 or so. Let me know.

Well i just had mine installed on friday, it soundz great , deep and loud! well the man helped me install it, we cut the old muffler of and used the 90 degree bend from the old muffler. Then we took a stright pipe about 2 feet long and welded it to the pipe and the 90 degree bend. Then welded the muffler on to the 90 degree bend. so it is exiting on the left. but the obx inlet is too big, so we had to weld another converter to make the inlet fit our small stock pipes. good luck. mines also a b3. one thing is the silencer, that sh*t is hard to take off and my nut broke off so i had to take pliers and yank that sucker out, when it getz hot the silencer will be stuck.
No thanks I just got the B1 off of ebay for pretty cheap. So these pipes sound pretty good? Are they loud and deep, do you think it will get someone noticed being loud? How much difference does it make in sound and performance by removing the silencer? So does you OBX pipe come out of the back of the car in the same place the old muffler did? Is your pipe not cut slanted but does it come out of the car being slanted?

yeah, my OBX sounds real good. it is very deep and loud. you will get noticed with it. no real difference with the silencer. i had mine welded so that it comes out the left side of the car (where the stock tips came out). It looks sweet. Tucked up in there and very clean. mine is not slanted. HTH

obx makes great products, imho… if i didnt have an apexi, id get an obx, but i got an apexi n1 for like, $75.
im getting a obx b5 for my crx.
what’s the difference between obx b1,b2, b3, b5 etc? size? which one looks best on our integra’s? i don’t want anything too big nor too small. It’s going to be welded on custom 2.5" inch piping, resonated testpipe, and ts chikara headers. thanks!

hey TIroneous, the difference between the B1,B2,B3, etc is the style of the tip on the muffler. For example, the B5 has a longer tip than the B3.

I just have a pretty much stock muffler but made by Dynomax. It’s in the stock location and I’ve been wanting something different especially sound wise. I just looked at that style and I like it. How much do you like shipping will be by any chance to Oregon? Thanks!

I don’t have any pics of my exhaust but ill describe it the best i can till i can get a pic. The muffler looks stock, the tip isn’t though. It’s a 3-1/2 or 4 in tip at the biggest. The whole setup looks stock other than the tip of course. If your willing to trade that would be cool but its not that great of exhaust IMO. Im not too fond of the sound for the most part (at low RPM’s it somewhat deep but WOT its kinda raspy and when the RPM’s drop every now and then it has a little raspy to it) I don’t want you getting somethin you dont want but let me know. Im willing to trade or buy. Thanks!
