OBX racing Intake Manifold??

Hey guy’s… I’m looking into buying an aftermarket Intake manifold for my 91 RS. I found this OBX Racing one new on Ebay for fairly cheap:

I’m just wondering if this would be a nice addition for a gain in higher Rpm power. Also, to go along with the manifold will be a Short ram intake, and I was looing into buying an OBX Throttle Body Spacer.

What do you guy’s think about this set-up on the intake side of things? For the exhaust there wilol be a 4-2-1 Header and 2.25" catback.

I was thinking about getting this a while back.Im not sure about that brand or how it performs but it looks like it would be better than stock the runners are much shorter almost looks like the skunk manifold.About the throttle body spacer i’ve heard people say they dont do much of anything exept space your throttle body a little bit :giggle: no performance though.Let us know if you get it and tell how much better is.

Well … there has been a change in plans for the car. I WAS gonna go all-motor. But now in 3 weeks there is a turbo kit going on it.

I MIGHT get the manifold still down the rd. I wanna see how the stocker performs under boost. :clap:

hey i dont think you should get it… maybe from other brand… but i dont trust OBX dat much…my friend got a obx shorshifter from obx and it got screwed up with in 2 days… and my other friend for obx muffler and he always got pulled over by cops… so u know lol … i dont know about obx dat much

… for the last time… OBX is a smidget above APC in terms of product quality. Stay away from them like a girl wit bumpies on the mouth…
