Actually… .
The only “R” pistons that will raise the compression in a B16A motor are CTR pistons. JDM ITR is similar to the P30 pistons (10.4:1) and US ITR will actually lower the compression.

thanks for the other info guys, much appreciated as well. Im starting to like the sound of the b16. Its kinda a underdog, which I like to have. It would be cool to have a sedan with ab16 in it that noone fears and then go spank some peeps. I know the b16 has potential, I just want some instant power untill I can afford a bigger more powerful motor. Rings are going in the b18a anyway.
