Old school wheel pics

Hmm. Lemme go look at my wheel label…

EDIT: Where your last pic says “New A-V” mine says “Europe” I’d take a pic of the label, but I don’t want to take my wheel off :stuck_out_tongue:

The date on mine is 1992, so maybe my AVs are the first gen AVs. After all, yours says “new” A-V

Different pics of my starks also by carving

SSR schumachers

GALES ls636 and Work Ligare all the way at the right

and a picture just for fun!:salute:

those black/purple RC starks look sick.

Those “ugly ass” studs are there because its a multi-piece wheel. Multi-piece wheels are stronger and have more precise roundness and tolerances compared to a single piece wheel.

still doesn’t change the fact that its uglier

I think the 2 piece ones look better then the 1 piece.

The 1 piece looks too plain and generic.

Hey JDM da9
weren’t those on c.l. a few months ago? I was thinking of getting them.
i know this is old school because they dont make them no more but they are still new school =)
I guess. Thats your opinion and thats fine. Mine is that multipiece wheels look 16 billion times better than 1 piece wheels.

Enkei S
RS Betas
RH C2’s
Starks II’s

All look sicker in multipiece form.

Stern Maximer f2’s… see if I can find a picture… I have a set of them Forged 2 piece came available in 2 or 3 piece. Mine are the 2 piece.

what would be the third piece?

Inner lip, outer lip, face?

Correctomundo!

Multi-piece wheels do all look better except for the example of NRS’ and GRNs  .
J.

I agree with that… though I have to admit that in the case of the Stark vs. Stark II its really a case of ugly and uglier.

(Stark II being “uglier”)

haha…

what about mr-5 vs. the drag pro?

So these are apparently Volk Racing Group CVs or what I have known as GR-Cs which I have a set of sitting in my basement

[mine]

So then, are these not the same? And where can I find the center caps which are on them? They look to have a much lower profile adn I can’t seem to find them any where on the net.

…i wasnt sure how old skool we were getting…

here are some hayashi’s better known as sakura (super duper rare)

I LOVE starks! Ahhh!

lutzy - It looks like the 2 top pictures you have are 15" wheels, and the 3rd the wheels look bigger.

They maybe the same type of wheel but different sizes, your 3rd pic looks like those are 17s?
