Older member, new pictures and intro.

Just picked up a B20B block last night. So I am going the B20 VTEC route… I’ll try to get some pictures of my car as it sits now with the BBS’s and keep you peeps up to date on the build progress…

Don’t ya just hate the door dings? My black DA has them too.
I wash and wax and think to myself ya that’s great now I can REALLY
see those damn things.

Good luck with the build.

did u get this cluster with the yellow needles already or did u do it yourself? if u did do it urself…wut did u use to paint the needles? i’m planning on doing the same thing but don’t know if i should paint it or use a permanent marker.

haha Yeah the door dings do suck but hopefully they will be coming out soon along with a new paint job. Thanks

Yeah I painted them myself it was tough to keep a steady hand and not get the paint everywhere. I think a paint pen may work better but i just used Tamiya florecent yellow model paint along with a small hobby/model paint brush.

Specs on the camaro in the background of the gauge cluster pic?

ahaha all matching numbers 1968 Z28 Chevrolet Camaro.

Rockin the optional chrome door trim. Nice

Yup! And it has been owned by my Dad since 1970.

So I transfered some of my stuff to my friends garage so I can work and not have to worry about any rain or anything getting stolen…
What I am starting with:

And my new seating arrangement in the car:

Hopefully get a lot more work done tomorrow after work. :read:

B20 Vtec is the way to go. Dont know how practicle it will be for a daily driver unless you build it right. No cutting corners and what not.

Hopefully by the time i move back up in washington i will have my B20Vtec done.

My head needs to go out for machining next. Anywho good luck, and i want to see some good numbers out of this!

i dont think tims gonna cut any corners

good luck man get this shit done so we can do a shoot with my db1 lol

That’s one sick DA man. I think I saw it once in Issaquah a long time ago, but yeah nice build. Keep up the good work bro.

Yeah you probably did, I am out in that area quiet a bit. Thanks

Those BBS’s are lookin nice! What size are they? 15x7? Can’t wait for the finished motor & nice job on the build!

Yup! 15x7 +38 offset. Thanks
