Let me hear some opinions or personal experiences?
I have one and I absolutely love it! It bumps pretty good, and I haven’t had any problems with it whatsoever. Also, it’s pretty compact and lightweight, which is always a good thing. But don’t buy it if you’re expecting heavy bass that you could hear a block away. Hope this helps…
i want clear audio, “enjoyable” bass, not BUMP BUMP BUMP, here i COME COME COME type stuff
I haven’t had time to hear infinity’s car line, but I’ve got two IL50 floorstanding speakers in my bedroom with the built in parametric EQ. Infinity is all about clear and quality audio, as powerful as you want without being boomy.
If you like clear, tight, musical bass that does not advertise, this is a good choice. It’s nice to hear someone else out there likes a balanced audio system.
I dont know about the basslink system, but I have an infinity 12" (refrence line) in a sealed box and love it, goes great with the refrence line coaxials I have.

Exactly…the Basslink is very clear and quite enjoyable. I have friends with 1000+ watt sound systems with 12" subwoofers, and quite frankly it’s too much bass for my tastes. The Basslink on the other hand lets me bump my music without sounding obnoxious. Also, I’m no car audio expert, but I was able to install and tune the Basslink myself. The instructions that came with it were very thorough. Let me know if you want to know more about it.
how much to pay?
I sold the basslink and IMO $ for $ your money would be better spent on a sub and custome enclosure with a seperate amp. I think the frequency response on the basslink is substandard for what you pay for. Considering we sold the basslink for $499.99 - here’s what I would do for that amount of money-
jl 10w3-d4- 179.99
alpine monoblock amp - 200x1 @ 2 ohms - $199.99
custome enclosure- nothing fancy- sealed to specs of jl woofer- 125.00 on avg.
that’s $505 and I guarantee you will like that soooo much better than the basslink-- now i did not include install and wiring- which will cost extra where the basslink has that all included- so if you’re wanting a “plug and play” setup- that’s what the basslink will give you and that’s why you get less sound for the money- cause a little bit of the price is paying for the convenience of small enclosure and simple installation. Now on that same note, if you compare this to what it’s competition really is, bazooka amplified tubes, it blows them out of the water easily. But even then in that comparison the most expensive bazooka tube is still about $100 less than the basslink-- HTH

I ended up paying a little less than $300 shipped for the Basslink from eBay. It was still brand new in the box. It took a while of searching and waiting, but in the end I think it was well worth it. I wasn’t about to pay the $500+ that Crutchfield and some shops wanted for it. Here, check this out:

While searching for my setup, I noticed that there were mixed reviews concerning the Basslink. I must admit that there are better setups out there, but in the end the Basslink suited my needs perfectly. Keep in mind that I’m more of a engine performance kind of guy, so weight was my number one concern. But then again, I still needed my fix. It came down to either the Basslink or Bazooka tube. Either one would’ve fit all 3 of my criteria:
#1 - WEIGHT
#2 - QUALITY
#3 - PERFORMANCE
It just so happened that I came across the Basslink for a good price (eBay) and it was still brand-spankin new. So needless to say, I just bought the Basslink…and have been satisfied with it since. So, good luck with your search, and let me know if there’s anything else you wanna know about it.
