kNOwLedGe420…You have to let me know if your Temp Guage is wrong or is that the Normal Temp that you ride with…That is super COOL…What did you do to make it that way…I am now running BOOST and need to cool her down as much as possible…A bit of Over Heating issue some times in Traffic under load...Thanks.....RalfyLugo@hotmail.com
My temp gauge is a little funny…When I get alot of airflow into the radiator my temp gauge likes to show that the car is pretty cool when it’s actually at normal operating temperature. I think it can be fixed with a new coolant temp sensor, but I’ve had one sitting in my glove box for almost a year yet to be put in. I don’t know where it goes or how to install it. (You do realize that I’m only going 70 MPH in that pic right???)
What radiator setup are you running on your car? That might be one of the culprits. Also, look into purchasing a MUGEN low-temp thermostat. It should help the car to run a little cooler when pushing it.
Thanks for the info…I am running with a 2 year old Fluidyne Radiator…With 2 10" Slim Spal Fans that are intended for Push but are connected as Pull…I changed the Radiator cap and Thermastat…Acura Dealer Thermastat…I am not sure as why it Overheats a bit in Traffic…It bothers me…Before Boost she was perfect…I am going to put the stock fans on and see if that does it…If not then something else is wrong…Like…Temp Sensor or lastly…The Multy Layered Cometic Head Gasket that the shop put on is UpsideDown…Thanks for the info thoe…I was just like wow…LOL…
Redline,
You are going to want to flip those fans back to a push style. Pullers work at least 20% less then a push and considering it looks like the thins you are using aren’t a “funnel” type it could be the reason they aren’t keeping the block below 210.
Best of luck,
J.
What headlights are these? They look like JDM but are clear. Where can i get some. They look super clean and would flow better than the JDM’s that i have on there now.
