pic request- nicest g2 u ever seen.

Allmotor’s blue G2 is hot. Its like on the first few pages.

is that clear hood legal !?

:jerkoff: :jerkoff: :jerkoff:   These have 2 be some of the hottest gen 2’s i’ve ever seen. I’ll get pics of mine soon

Why do all of these tegs have stockish bumpers? I don’t quite get it, you throw a lip, hood and a set of rims on your otherwise stock looking car and it becomes the hottest thing anyone has ever seen? Not dissing one bit on anyone’s style ( I am partial to the jdm look) but a clean g2 can only go so far.
I say go all out…

Imagine to this spring, when my car is finally completed…

V-Speed Evo 3 front bumper… (heard of it? that’s why I bought it)
Black dual halo projectors…
VIS Invader CF hood…
X-1 style fenders…
Black Widow sides…
Black Widow 1 rear bumper…
Black Widow 1 spoiler…
Sitting on 18" Motegi Gunmetal DP6’s and all wrapped up in fresh Milano Red R81 paint…

Agressive looking won’t even begin to describe the package, I can’t even turn my back on her in her current dissarray or she will slap the shit out of me…

By the way, she started life with the little badge on the back that said GSR, so it only gets better from there…

because halos and 18 inch rims on a integras is quite ugly plain and simple and serves no real purpose, and some jdm things actually benefit, like lightweight bumpers, but not really that safety but whatever, anyways people like the clean jdm look i guess, i like the simple look, nothing EXTREME

here we go again another discussion about the samething again 3pages later.

more cars, less yappin

Hey I’ve been good on this one… trust me I have plenty to say but I’ve kept my comments to myself.

All that stuff is nice, if your trying to be in the Fast N Furious. Do what you want but i would take a cleaner car than a kitted up one with a wing. And here is my car just to show you. Think it has just a lip, hood, and wheels, try 15K in parts!

where did you get the carbonFiber gas door??

Please understand, I’m not trying to hate on anyone’s style or what they want done to their car, I’m just having a conversation here. I apoligize if I offend anyone, but I am only experssing my opinions, which is what forums are for. No reason to get personal with anyone.

I just think that completing the exterior is the next step.
For many years, I’ve had the lip, low stance and rims, with all the “under the skin” upgrades done. But I noticed that the full built cars were not only doing better at shows, they got more attention period.

My question is, what is the differance between the pos ghetto honda that you see all around with rims/cut springs and a clean G2? Fresh paint? A couple of carbon fiber bits? They both are still stockish looking cars no matter what’s under the hood or in the cabin. I understand that people work with what they have, but I don’t understand why someone would spend 4 digits to custom paint a stock part.

A while back, I had to come to the decision to either sell the car or go balls to the wall and keep it forever because of the kind of money that was being spent. The tuner lifestyle is an investment if you really think about it. Why would someone spend multiple G’s on a car and then turn around to sell it for a loss? A completed tuner car is only worth a couple hundred more than blue book unless it is a high end make i.e. Supra, RX7, Skyline. Doesn’t make any sense unless a financial disaster came around and you needed money quick. A turboed has-every-part-imaginable GSR G2 wouldn’t be able to fetch 15 large on it’s best day. Instead, go ahead and spend the money, and make the car a weekend driver that sits in the garage and looks pretty when it rains. Understand that you will have the car for the next 20 to life and that it will give you pleasure every time you turn the key.

The point to all this it to make it look hot enough that is will still be noticed when you pull up to the new 2025 Audi, Mitsubishi or Acura craziness that they will come out with. That is somethig that I think a carbon fiber piece or 2 and some rims will not do.

Every single one of my cars has had only OEM exterior pieces, including my “crazy new Acura.”

I get plenty of attention, at shows and on the streets. Had I put some wavy fiberglass bumpers and bondo’d my fenders to my windows, I would have definately gotten more attention… attention I definately would not want.

Its probably regional. Where I live is where “JDM” was born. OEM bumpers and clean paint never go out of style. Remember the Veilside craze of 97-98? Ever see any of those kits anymore? That’s right… because they went out just as fast as pogs did. You’re going to have to keep changing the bondo bumper over and over again to keep with the times, and you know what, my “crazy 2005 Acura” with its OEM bumpers will still be in style, and it will still be clean, and it will still get attention.

^I held out for as long as I could.

To make up for it, here’s a pic of a friend’s car, 16" Black MR5s:

and on 15" M7s:

don’t hold out digital, it’s just a conversation… here are pics of the upcoming evo X. There will undoubtably be some changes, but will a stockish car hold a candle to even a mildly modified one of these?

Honestly, this isn’t the place to have our “conversation,” since this is a pic thread. I no doubt can have an intelligent adult conversation about it, but perhaps in a more appropriate thread?

That car is undoubtedly innovative, but just plain out not for me. I’ll take a 200 whp OEM color repainted stock bodied G2 with 4 piston calipers over it any day.

Time to nominate another. I’ve posted this car before but things have changed significantly enough to warrant another posting:

The one and only DA Kine:

damn… Da Kine’s car is looking like mine, but mine doesn’t have a cf hood and mugen wing!

cool man, havent seen it but it probably looks good!

digitalHorizon, are those SpeedStars? I would prefer flat centercaps but the wheels are awsome.

Like I said earlier, do what you want with your car. It is your car, I like any hooked up g2 just like everyone else on the site. However, for our cars; and i think most people will agree with me on this, bodykits and wings look stupid on our cars. the stockish exterior just totally fits the shape of the car perfectly. and i get attention all the time in my car, for instance and this was strange to me, i was at a light and i saw some people walking the some girl pulled out a digi and snapped a pic of my car. haha i thought it was funny.
