[QUOTE=B16A3TEG;1703054]yeah i uderstand the whole keeping it honest. i tried looking for the proper placement on the badge when i got it repainted. the only other DB2 that i had access of, the emblem is gone. so no help there. i found one parked at a resturant that looked like it was stock paint and went by where her emblem was. my car originally had the gold package but where it was painted before i got it they used the adhesive glue on the emblem and needless to say it wasn’t in the right spot either. as for the bumper i never noticed that till you pointed it out and i was like WTF is he talking about. i searched this thead and figured it out. it was already painted like that when i bought it so i thought that was how it was supposed to be, honestly i like it better painted. if you seen the car in person you can tell the paint shade is off too. he used the paint code in the door jamb but it has a “pinkish” tint too it. maybe he mixed wrong or something i don’t know but it looks a thousand times better than what it did before so i am not complaining on that. before i bought it we had a BIG ice storm here and trees froze and branches fell on the car. busted the sunroof glass the back hatch glass and put some pretty big dents on the roof and quarter panel. the guy i bought the car off of replaced the rear hatch as a complete unit instead of just replacing the glass. for some reason he told me the only way to get just the glass was to order it from the dealer and it was around a grand for that. so he bought a rear hatch from georgia and it has plugs on it for the third brake light holes but did have the third brake light in the LED spoiler. so in hindsight there are some things off on my car but its still a GS-R with 118,000 miles or so on it.:rockon: i bought it when it had 87000 three years ago.
obviously you don’t need to ask me lol. i looked at moving mine but i am not gonna take a chance on ruining a brand new emblem and messing up new paint too. so i am fine with where mine is at. Schu knows where it needs to be and has access to the measurements so maybe he can post that info up. your car looks great.

i don’t know what it will cost you…i work for a toyota dealership so i get a discount. plus the acura parts guy used to be my service writer so he hooks me up pretty good. but i do spend alot of money with him too so it helps both of us out. i had heard once they were discontinued and we were looking up parts for mine. he had clicked on the emblem page and i was like hey hey can you still get them and he said yes. i told him to get me 3 of them and had them in a couple of days.
Here’s my GS-R. I’m about to rip its heart out for a rebuild…leaking oil, little white puff when i shift…thanks boost! edit Dont ever buy these POS headlights from ebay, they look cool, function sucks though…I have some real jdm one pieces on the way to me now.
My aztec green 92 gs-r was stolen from chico state university about four years ago since then ive had a 93 lss that i built then sold for a truck… had a couple crx’s now i have a 1990 civic si… but the wife knows that if I find another aztec gs-r I without question will be buying it!
