well that really makes me want to get some lowering springs for christmas instead of an exhaust… hmmmm  beautiful!

HEY !!! What’s up with trashing MAACO paint jobs??

When I wuz selling my '82 Celica (remember how ugly THOSE things were?), I had Maaco paint it before I sold it… and I was able to bargain for $700 more than what I originally listed to sell the car for!

Best $100 I EVER SPENT !!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA…

WHo says Maaco doesn’t serve a purpose in this world??? :stuck_out_tongue:  :stuck_out_tongue:

You should of seen my teg last weekend… I was bored so I dropped my teg all the way down. My back stock 14" steels were tucked =) and yet I didn’t notice any neg chamber… must be cuz I got all season rubbers.

hey Creepingdeath how many inches is your car lowered? What brand springs?

2.25" drop with Neuspeed race springs.

No I don’t have any problem with speed bumps or steep inclines. I take them somewhat diagonal out of habit and that eliminates a lot of the problem. I also go super slow over railroad tracks. As long as you are not TOO low and you drive careful on steep or rough roads it is NOT an issue. I lowered my old car too low, and wrecked it for that very reason. I wouldn’t suggest any lower than what my car is. Speed bumps just hit my mud flaps as long as I take them slow. The highway is not an issue either, since my spring rates are so high, it is very very hard for my car to bottom out.

I’ll post a couple of mine up…here goes:

In auto-cross gear!

Before the springs settled, and at a bad angle.

This is a reminder, to take your time and do your install right! Lower control arm outer bolt ripped out, due to owner’s (THAT’S ME!) negligence. Don’t take any shortcuts, or say to yourself…that should do for now.

EDIT: Using 500F/450R Neuspeed race springs. Lower about 2.25" drop. Harsh and I love them, although I wish I had softer rates in front, and stiffer rates in rear (like 400F/600R).

BlueG2 haha how can you tell if he has a cheap paint job? not extravagant/different colors/etc. i was thinking of getting a paint job, but affordable and just decent.

my 90 sedan is on eibachs 1.8front/1.5rear and sits a little lower than sykes. it doesnt dip in but maybe a centimeter or two lower than the fender. then of course the rear is a little higher. ive used coilovers before and eibach seems to have set it just right. im on stock alloys with 195/65/14 yokohamas. rarely ever scrape (my mudflaps always do tho) and i can fly over most dips.

heh. ghetto fabolous

90TegRs : at the time it was on the 14s she was dumped onto Weapon R coilovers, 1st gen, KONI Yellows, and ST DropForks and ProArms.
