what size tires are you running looks like maybe 175/50/15’s? maybe
also i found an awsome website that has all kinds of info about stretching and rim width its called tyrestretch.com its a whole library of pics to show you what a certain size tire would look like on a certain size rim… go check it out
i know they are generic rims but they are my daily beaters until i get my mugen m7’s rebarreld
these are drag dr46’s 15x7 +10 offset with a 175/50/15 nexan tire
no rolling fenders at all… just barely clears but it does clear drove all night with them with no issues whatsoever
Quick question for you guys. Not really low offset but involving tire stretch. I’m getting a set of 16x7’s and want to use spacers do bring them put more even with the fenderline. Figured a bit of stretch on the tires would help with clearance. I read that I’ll see a little stretch on a 195/40 or 195/45, and a bit more stretch on a 175/50. Whatdoyou guys think? Tried finding pics but came up with nothin.
A 195 on a 7 will not be stretched. A 175 on a 7 will have a decent amount of stretch. This is all dependent on the particular tire because they’re all shaped differently in any given size especially when stretched.
