its koo not on the my car right now… im on 195/45/16 Yokohama s-drives too
When i order what kind of info will i need to give them? Obviously rim diameter and width, bolt pattern, offset etc.
How much did you have your fenders rolled? no rubbing or anything?
Sorry so many questions, wheels is just one thing i dont know much about.
dont know if you know about r,o,a, disk, if you are gonna get big brakes i would run r disk, if not i would run o disk o has less back space so you would have a fat ass lip, a disk is standard size back space and you would lose about 1/2 inch on the lip over the o disk…
running Legend GS front calipers/Prelude rotors, and rear RSX calipers and EP3 Rotors.
with that setup i would run a disk
Edit- i just found more info on disk , and now i understand it. It looks like i will go for A-disk all around. O disk will most likely only clear stock brakes. But A-disk (standard) should clear no problem, and still plenty of lip.
this is all i could find http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/wheels/28/82/XSA%2002C%20Mighty%20Spec.pdf
yea it looks like im going with 16x8 +10 offset, A-Disk. probably get them ordered next month. Might even be able to get O-disk on the back, the calipers arent too much bigger than stock.
hows the stretch on those tires? I used to use Federals 595ss the stretch was good on 18x9.5 225/40 and 17X9 215/40
rexone… how much did ur m7’s cost and where did u get em?
they are on sale on HT: click me for M7
they were custom made by Opposum Jenkins on HT
just search the name

what rims are those?
Sportmax but they’re trash, offset is too aggressive. After doing some research I’m leaning more towards a +20 offset. The sportmax are 0 offset.
ive just put the 15 offset sportmaxx rims 16’s with correct profile tyres without stretching and they sit outside the wheel arch by anywhere from 10 to 20mm… this is with stock suspension and stock camber etc.
but they look great and im happy with them with a little bit of lowering and some camber and flaring the guards itll fit in there
[QUOTE=rexone;1982578]yeah m7s are not on the db1 right now. dont have any clear pics of the whole car. the db1 itself is going through a little transformation. so hopefully in the coming weeks it will be complete.
so far i have these for low-offset rims
SSR Takechi Project Super Fins
16x7.5 +6 offset
195/45/16 goodyear duraco tires
SSR Formula Mesh
16x7 +25 offset
had the 4x100-114 conversion adapters 15mm (basically running a +10 offset)
205/40/16 falken ziex 512
miss these rims
and here are the Mugen M7s.
still need to make them fit all the way around…stay tuned.
have 4x100-114 15mm conversion adapters on as well. (you can say im running 0 offset)
16x8 +15 offset
16x9.5 +15 offset
