The guy is asking a question about his engine. Lets just keep it to that. If he chooses to street race and you don’t, who gives a fuck. I street race too and niether one of you guys can pass judgment on someone you don’t know. Thats his business. Aside from all the bad info being shared here and people taking a stance to street racing, nobody has answered his question, but passed the guilty sentence on the guy because he likes racing his car. Why put a turbo on a car if the only place to feel its potential is at the track?? Your ranting about his choices in life are falling on def ears, that will not change his or my mind set where motorsports are concerned so lets just stick to the topic.
Personally its your tunning. I have a bone stock B16A motor with ARP headstuds and GSR cams. I tried to prove a point with this motor and beat the living piss outa it night after night to see what a good tune can do with a stock motor. I raced cars in the low 12’s and walked away from them. I would pair up against cars that have already been to the track to see where I stand. This car was driven like I stole it. It has a Zdyne ecu, 750cc injectors, SC61 turbo, and all the other bolt on goodies. I run 15psi daily and this motor does not skip a beat, burn a drop of oil and gets shifted at 8500rpm. This setup was put in when I hurt my LS/Vtec motor. Its been in since the begining of summer and has over 50-60 hard passes on it. The setup is making anywhere from 340 to 360whp at 15psi. Right now I just put my stock injectors back in and drive it like a normal car and don’t get into any boost. Your motor is not your problem. Its your tunning. Who did your tunning? whats your timing at? how much boost retard per pound of boost are you running, what octane pump gas are you using? where are you shifting at? whats your entire setup? My buddy hyped this engine up to me and I see why. Its a strong motor. If you spun a rod bearing you obviously detonated. Which in most cases is timing related. I tuned mine on the street with a buddy and his Innovative wideband. We tuned in 1000rpm increments (from 4000 to 5000 WOT) until we went through the entire powerband. Then did complete passes and checked the air fuel readings to make sure there was no hickups in the tune fro a dead stop through all the gears. I will run more boost on this setup after the winter but all I had was a 2 bar map sensor and thats the max boost I could run with that. I now have a 3 bar map sensor, so time will tell.
first and foremost, there’s only one “n” in T-U-N-I-N-G.
prove it. show a dyno. i have great doubts that a bone stock, tired b16 is making that much power.
as for your little streetracing support…fuck you. it says all over the site we don’t condone streetracing and to post about performing it at your own risk. if you don’t like what we have to say about assfucks like you who endanger the lives of other people’s family members, then keep it to yourself.
Eat a dick armed faggot. First off do some research on this setup and you will see proof that it has already been done. I have not dyno tuned my car but raced people that have been to the track. So using a hp calculator with the weight of my car I know where I stand. Its not rocket science, just basic math.
I couldn’t give a flying fuck what you or other people think of what my choices in life are. When I street race its in a 4 lane road at night in the boonies with no traffic and no side streets or chidren playing. I am not jumping in my car and driving a hour and a half to the track when I get the erge to step on my car. So take your million man march speech and shove it up your ass. Its always easy to pass judgement on others a go off on a rant like your so high and mighty. Save the shit for the shovel. If you don’t like it, tuff. There is nothing you can do about it but waste space on the internet saying this and that and not accomplish anything more then verbal combat. So
you neet more cliches in there…i only counted 20 or so.
and armed faggot? golly, i haven’t seen that one in at least a week!

i must say this is the most interesting shit i have read on this website yet . and for you guys that are for street racing cool and those that don’t thats your damn choice, but i really don’t agree with racing in trafic and other shit like that. when i street race it is in the boonies and the people that are there no the risk . and as far as asking advice on blocks i am sticking with the b16. i will not go with a b20 . the reason i spun a rod bearing was because my oil line for my oil pressure gauge got a leak and the oil pressure was to low . and the reason my other motor pop was because i ignored a tps sensor check engine light . and as far as using a block fresh from japan i really don’t give to shits about because i am waiting for my block to get back from golden eagle . then its on . but it was nice for people to speak up for what they believe . :burnout:
sadly, not everyone attending a street race is over 18 years of age, meaning that if something happens to them, you’ve now become involved in endangering and/or contributing to the delinquency of a minor. bad stuff to have on your record.
street racings bad mmmkay.
there we go
BULB JUST TURNED ON
BIG IDEA
Leave it at that now done deal over with
Thank You naisab18a1
and for those that still say it is cool just dont say anything cause you only are making yourselves look bad
it is their choice and their parents should no where they are at . and most of the people that go to the street races down here are 20’s + and some in the 40’s and 50’s . i hate going to the track .your racing for times not your opponent . plus you have to wait forever to run . and if something goeas wrong with your car you have a nice tow bill to get it home . plus i can’t see paying to tear up my own shit . i go to the track every once in a while to see what my times are but that’s it.other than that street racing is what i like and nobody is going to change my mind i have been doing it for a good five years and don’t plan on quiting .
cool than i guess i will look bad for something i like to do.
agreed…sounds like you are proud that you keep popping motors and that you street race :bang:
Figures you’re from jersey. Clever with the red letters. how long did it take you to come up with that? guess it depends on what part of jersey your from north or south. Oh thats right no one but people from jersey give a fuck what part your from.
I am deeply offended. Nothing says “OMFG you OWNED ME!” like making fun of NJ.
As for comming up with the red letters, took me roughly 15 seconds.
hahahahaha HondaH22 got :owned: hahahahahahahaha
ok turbo teg or whatever ur name is u shouldve known from the get go ur gonna get flammed at a website talking about street racing and i understand why some of the OG guys would get mad here i mean sites like these do get monitored by govnt anyone remember pastreetracing.org? well as for ur opinion on b20 is a bad block for turbo bullshit, my block was terrific on 7psi(enough to pull on a supercharged 330ci on the hightway) just blew up because of no tuning and my sleeves where perfectly fine i cracked a piston ring. its all on tuning what the one guy said tune the bitch and itll be fine. stop bsing with probably a FMU u have and get some sort of real engine management.
ok as for the opinions on street racing. dood this is the internet one thing i hated seeing on HT is that the whole streetracing is gay bandwagon. i used to go to the races in jc,nyc, newark ect.( i kno it isnt the smartest thing in the world). but its not even worth it because dickheads that go just make it more and more dangerous than it used to be. if it wasnt for streetracers tracks wouldnt have opened. think about it all the old school muscle car guys who used to street race. usually on a fri night after coming home from the track. if he gets hit/hurts someone/or crashes its his fucking mistake and good for him he’ll learn his lesson. if he isnt hurting anyone then dont bitch at him like all u guys are his mom. i see tons of guys at etown(one of the biggest tracks) and more than half those guys after seeing them at the test and tune friday night are over at the ave P running(well at least till all the fucking stupid young kids starting overpopulating the shit). today its just too damn dangerous around ehre at least to go racing. aside from the slow sohc civics driving around doing burnouts at the local spots to kitted out cars full of 17 year olds thinking its cool to hang out there. what we need is a track open from 10 past midnight thats what we need.
sorry kinda drunk and rambling o btw for any dick who thinks imma just another stupid youngin imma 24 and havent had a blemish on my record for about 4 years now. i wont condone street racing but shiet if someone is doing it dont knock em if he is just trying to catch one last race, we all do it sometimes.
rofl thats cause us nj people are assholes
no truer words have ever been spoken
hell yea man i luv being a ass i just dunt understand why everyone posts on every damn internet forum blabbing hatred to a kid that street races. as long as the fucker isnt flying through traffic trying to race every car/wagon/bus ect he isnt hurting anyone on a lonely street @ 1am except maybe himself and his car.
