Nice. I’m literally one click away from building an i7 machine as well, I’m just trying to convince myself it’s worth it before I click “buy”.
I’m going with the Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard. I’ll only be using one 1GB 9800GT card for now. I’m not a gamer so I don’t need SLI/Crossfire.
Hopefully I’ll make my decision by tonight.
i never thought i’d see the day when 1GB VRAM became the norm.
games have come a LONG way in 5 years. massive and detailed textures + shading effects, etc. take a ton of processing power…now gpus are strong enough to offload some work to them too… i <3 technology.

They also have a nice corded remote that allows you to do time lapse photos, I have had for a while. The shipping takes a little over a week from china, but I always like the stuff I get from them.
Well, i’m building another computer LOL. Specs on that in a little bit when all the parts come in tomorrow.
I’m working on another one too, just need to buy another car first and wait for AMD and motherboard manufacturers to get their weight up for socket AM3.

I WANT one of those! Been thinking about it for awhile now, but my photography budget has been spent after picking up a 40D, 3 lenses and a 430EX… Funds now need to be funneled towards snowboarding and cars. Maybe sometime in the spring/summer I can dedicate some more $$ to photography and maybe bicycles too
