Do you have it installed yet? Curious how hard the display is to see in sunlight. The unit I got in my Civic… I can’t see what the hell it says unless it’s dark out. Brutal.
no idea. I did a “flashlight” install (in my parking space, in the pitch black parking lot) an hour ago. I’m going to listen to sirius (I have a $19 add on unit I bought about 3 years ago that works awesome) 99.9% of the time. The panel that goes over the factory radio no longer fits even though I was assured it would. A little foam backed posterboard and some spray paint and I’ll be cool.
Installed into my 1994 toyota tercel.

i am gonna rent this sometime soon and play it. i never got into the older RE games really…
i LOVED the older games. the “heart beating out of your chest from all the tension” was amazing. loved it so much. that and the puzzles. RE4 was quite a departure from that, as it was more of an action game. RE5 is the same idea. i miss the survival horror, but at the same time i really love the new direction they are going. it’s not just the same old thing again, although i’d love to fight some fucking zombies!
i played through twice so far, once CO-OP and once alone. they say the AI is really good in the game, i disagree. it’s better than a lot of games, but there are a lot of times when it’s just useless. like when you are between your partner and the enemy, and the AI just unloads into your back instead of moving to the side to get a clear shot. or when you are unloading on the enemy and the AI gets directly in your way, causing you to have to change positions (particularly annoying in some of the more intense battles, where time is a factor because the enemy is coming towards you). i advise you to play with another person when you do play it, it’s much better that way (provided that the person you play with it’s a douchebag). i’m always up for another play-through if you want (and if you get it on 360, not PS3).
^^ Yeah, I still mimic and mock the first RE on PS1. The characters had hilarious voice acting and movements. The last time I played an RE game was RE4 for Gamecube and it was very, very fun. I enjoyed it a lot. As for the 1st RE, there were a couple of times I got scared shitless, it was the first time a video ever scared the shit outta me! At the beginning when the dogs jump through the window and at one point an arm breaks through some boards and grabs you in a hallway! Now it seems there are too many games like that, so I don’t get as tense as I did back in the day. Lame.
The barrel I bought showed up in the mail at work today.
cut that fugger down
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic OEM. On sale this week at Frys for $29.99
Damn… I can’t imagine having a shotty sitting on top of my desk… dude… you are soo cool!
Lone Wolf Barrel for my Glock19. yay!
Why do you have a Lone Wolf barrel that isn’t threaded? I mean, besides the fact that even if you did own a suppressor in Washington state, you’re not allowed to actually USE it in Washington state (stupid huh?).
Schu, it will be cut down as soon as I can afford it…well, roughly 18 weeks after I can afford it, technically.
I wanna put a suppressor on a revolver.
You can suppress one of those old surplus Nagants because the case seals the chamber so the gasses don’t just explode out the gab between the barrel and cylinder like on a normal revolver. Because they are surplus, those revolvers are like $90. It’d cost you more to get the suppressor than it would to purchase the pistol and send it off to have it threaded at Tornado Tech. You could also cheap out on the suppressor and get one without a booster since the barrel doesn’t move.
