It’s Basic Allowance for Housing. You get it if you’re single or married, you just get more if you’re married. However you only get it in Boot Camp if you’re married.
If you live in military quarters you don’t get BAH at all. (like me)
i was thinking more like we’d send the kids over to my mom’s place, rent a hall, get my friend’s band to play, and party like fucking rockstars.
then later on we’d just bang like crazy. lol

The house looks awesome! I really like the furniture setup you have in the great room and the tile in the bathroom. I think tiling around a sink looks better than slab IMHO.

It’s a bit difficult because she’ll be living at with her parents for a while until she gets a job (we’re graduating college in like 4 weeks). She couldn’t get BAH while living at home, anyway. At least that’s what my recruiter told me.
yeah she could. I know a few people who’ve gotten stationed close enough to their parents that they moved back in and pocketed all the BAH.
:werd: my wife stayed at her parents while i was in basic/ait. and we still got 599 a month in BAH.if memory serves me correctly, all they need for bah is an address they aren’t going to send a drill sergeant to check and see if it’s her parents house.
