I’ll probably be buying a muslin background soon.[/QUOTE]
nice dude. welcome to the 6fps club
eh, wouldn’t matter if it was 40fps, I never utilize it. I don’t shoot sports.
bah humbug.

Mr7
Shit. I’ve been shooting a lot of fast cars on the track and my 3.5 fps aint cuttin’ it…
My latest. I got a wicked deal on them, so I grabbed them even though I have nothing to put them on right now. I’m gonna clean them up and if I still have no use for them, I’ll have no trouble selling them for twice what i paid. Hopefully I’ll have a use for them though.
2 of the tires are in good shape. The other 2, not so much.
You sure you won’t have a problem selling them?
Not to bag on your purchase at all bro - but when I think of American Racing wheels, I think of garbage.
My viewpoint may be a bit skewed since my 30D may have been a bad copy since it started acting up a lot before I ditched it in favor of the 40D… But, imo the 40D is a MUCH better camera. On paper it doesn’t sound much better but it just “feels” better. The one thing which isn’t a “feeling” though is the ISO noise reduction. That is much better on my 40D. I shoot really high ISO all the time now without even hesitating whereas before it would have yielded much worse quality shots than I’m getting now.
blah, blah, blah. When I saw you posted here, I was hoping to drool over those cam gears again.
EDIT: Doh, should have looked at the last page.

Time to upgrade? You’ve got an XTi, right?
In optimal conditions (low ISO, high shutter speed) the jump in image quality from the XT to the 40D is minimal, the main thing I was looking for was better ISO performance as well as better AF. And you’re right, the high ISO quality is pretty damn good. I’d venture to say the only thing better is the 5D and 5D mkII.
Colin- whered you pick up the Toda’s in gold? all the pics i see are silver. Unless its a trick of the eye/innanets.
EDIT-ok yea i think its the lighting, my bad.

Absolutely sure. I’m not a huge fan of American Racing either, but for what I paid for these I wouldn’t have gotten 4 steelies with 2 good tires on them. Not around here at least. There is NO rash, pits or bends on any of them, they just need to be cleaned up (the center caps especially) and maybe re-cleared. Honestly, I bet I could get twice what I paid tomorrow if I listed them tonight. I’m gonna clean them up though, and hang on to them for a bit. I like the look of them, so we’ll see if I find something to put them on or not. Either way, I’m not worried.
I have the XSi. I could get a 40D but I really like how light the Rebel is. I like the resolution as well.
I just really wish they would make a Rebel with 5 fps. Even the new T1i is slightly slower than the XSi at 3.4 fps.
It finally came in
now to go have fun with these
:giggle::giggle::giggle:
My two most recent:
The numbers even match on the latter (receiver, barrel, breech block, trigger guard, extractor).
Those are beautiful. What are the differences between the sk2 or Hks ones compared to the TODA?
Quality?
Oops. I meant these.
