Wow very nice. I want to do a tuck also but I want to keep my cruise control and ac any suggestions?
Cruizer: Your only grounding the valve cover, ideally when its connected to the stud it passes through to the head, which correct me if Im wrong, helps with the ignition.
Here’s my engine bay…
Interior pics pending…

What kinda intake is that?
In another thread mi_da_dc_eg wanted pictures of my engine bay… so here you go.
Nothing special its not shaved just tucked and cleaned up a bit…
You said you had some questions? Please feel free to ask.
I do plan on building a ghost engine harness but thats not for awhile more than likely.
Where did you run all the wires? I dont want to cut any wires thats the thing. I also want to keep my ac/ps/cruise. I am just looking for some advice bascially.
Then your options are as follows:
Accept it for what it is and move on.
There’s your options in a nutshell.
(not trying to be a dick, just being honest)
Not really I will just do a re-route mini tuck.
if you plan on doing one worth half a crap, you’re gonna have to cut/solder extensions.
if you dont want to cut any wires, just get chase from http://www.chasebaysonline.com/ to make you a harness, but be prepared to pay some cash for it
i deleted cruise control a while ago wen i did my swap, but theres not much to it, its jus that box and that extra throttle cable. it wont look much diferent if u keep it there. ac on the other hand is a bitch to work around but i also deleted that wen i did my swap, but it wont really conflict too much while u do ur tuck. A lot of people run their wires through the fenders but i jus made mine go straighth through the firewall. only my headlight wiring goes through the inside of the fender.
Well I only had to extend the slim fan wires. That’s it.
if you plan on doing one worth half a crap, you’re gonna have to cut/solder extensions.
Not true, see above.
if you dont want to cut any wires, just get chase from http://www.chasebaysonline.com/ to make you a harness, but be prepared to pay some cash for it
That’d be a viable option if chase custom made CAR harnesses. He does however make ENGINE harnesses.
mi_da_dc_eg here’s some pictures of a DA I did not to long ago. Actually I dont have any of “in progress” but I ran all the wires into the car, then out through the door harness holes and up and over the fender rails. I secured them to the rail with straps, no zip ties. If anything had to be extended it was soldered and heat shrunk.
no cutting or soldering whatsoever on mine.
Where is the photos? I think I am starting to get a idea on how to clean it up how I want.
Photos?
Here’s mine when I had the GS-R. The engine harness comes through under the brake booster near the subframe and the headlight harnesses run inside through the fenders.
wow did you have to extend anything? is it hard to run in the fenders? I am a noob I know.
il try to get one but its not gonna b very clear. all my conections are under the dashboard now. if anything was cut it was just to extend the wire or add wiring for the batter and the fuse box. but everything else are still male to female connectors
hmmm… all ran through the fenders or what? did you have to remove the dash or anything?
Didn’t have to extend anything, but stuff had to be shortened. The easiest way to run the headlight harnesses through the fenders is to depin all of the plugs and pull the wires into the cabin. That way you can pass them through the frame to the inside of the fender with no cutting because there will be no plugs in the way. Just be creative, once you start looking at it, you’ll figure it out. The headlight harnesses aren’t hard at all. Right now I’m “tucking” my interior wiring harness :surrend:
