Prep/Paint help

hey guys,
Im primering my car this weekend. My question is, do I sand and prep the front/rear bumpers the same way that I do the whole car? Or, should I just shoot primer over the stock paint? Let me know what i should do for those areas. thanks in advance.

Just like the rest of the car. the old paint needs to be dull. you dont have to primer over it though, as long as you have it scuffed to where theres no shiny places and then water sand it then tack it the paint should stick fine.
