Project: Long Time Coming is finally making its appearence!!!!

good stuff

Finally making some more progress. Got some of the fittings in for the brake lines and fuel lines, and am expecting more fittings , my stinger battery and jumper relocation post, fuel filter, bought a new paint gun and a bunch of other random stuff. Also going to pick up all my 12 pt bolts to replace all the current front suspension bolts and fender bolts.

and here is some of the pics with the doors on , finishing color sanding and rubbing tonight.

great job!

Wow and i thought i had my car stripped when i repainted it. holy crap! Looks great and nice choice of color! I have a similar story to you. i put my car in the shop in the summer 2002 and started working away. Then i left it sit till this summer only working on it a little at a time sometimes skipping a year just leaving it sitting to collect dust. This year i hauled arse on it and got it so i could drive it at least. I still have lots to do but its getting there.
you can check out my project here

Nice color! Looking good and keep up with good work! Canā€™t wait for the final!

Got some stuff in the mail

nice job!

thanks everyone!! gonna try and get the brakes done this weekend and unfortunately still waiting on my bolts to come in to finish off the suspension.

front suspension is done except re-painting the coilovers EBP to match. but got all the new bolts in and powder coated black to match the suspension.

wired up the new harness for the door and installed the rear harness which was also re-done and all mounted using push zip-ties directly into the body and also got the powder coated pedals installed.

Nice work

Iā€™m pumped about your build man! I am really looking forward to seeing the final product.

Thanks, im getting pretty excited myself! Just ordered some suede so i can start putting some of the interior back together. Gonna be on vacation next weekend so im trying to get as much done as possible but trying to get the brake lines ran still and just waiting on the mail man to deliver a fitting for my paint gun to finish the calipers and springs.

Nice work man. Iā€™m getting all the painting equpipment I need so I can be ready to paint by the end of the year. Looks so wet with that clear coat.

yeah i love that wet look, makes me want to never take it out to keep it lookin fresh. Being able to paint is great, im glad i learned how.

Ran the headlight wiring harness through the frame rail so i wouldnt have to extend the harness in anyway to make it reach, just have to add the expandable sleeving and tie it down.

got the calipers and moldings mirrors and springs all painted EBP

Then i sanded and prepped the washer fluid bottle for black paint and painted it, and will be make the opening off the bottle flush so it doesnt stick up as far as it did stock. will post pick when done with it

powder on, ready for the ovenā€¦

out of the oven

Finished the wiring harness under the dash, tied it down to firewall and relocated a couple of modules on the firewall to clean it up also

more to comes soonā€¦i hope lol

properly done

Thanks Man!!!

Some more updates, and more to come. Just havent had alot of time to update the picsā€¦
