Do we have to remove the front bumper support(or steel cross member?!) in order to mount the intercooler? If not, is it going right below it? I figured it might be sitting too low…

Here’s a Pic of mine
I chose to cut the hell out of the front bumper support, and hang the intercooler from there. The IC sits about 2 inches higher than the crossmember. No damage as of yet…

yeah i cut the hell outta mine too…i cut out most of the top so my IC pipe tucks right into the bumper support and welded in a new piece for added strength to the bumper good luck

Of course, if your ditching the AC your intake piping to the intercooler will come from the driver’s side. Therefore, you probably won’t need to cut as much of the upper support.
